The Balinese Room was a famous nightclub in Galveston, Texas. It was very popular in the 1940s and 1950s and featured top tier performers. It began in the 1930’s and along with a night club/restaurant and had an illegal gambling casino. The long hallway across the water was for a reason.... Every time the Texas Rangers raided it, by the time they ran the 100 yards all the gambling equipment would be stowed away. This T-Shirt is part of our retro series featuring the vintage Polynesian inspired Tiki Bars and Restaurants of yesteryear.
