The Balinese Room was a famous nightclub in Galveston, Texas. It was very popular in the 1940s and 1950s and featured top tier performers of the day. It began in the 1930’s and along with a night club/restaurant and had an illegal gambling casino. The long hallway across the water was for a reason.... Every time the Texas Rangers raided it, by the time they ran the 100 yards all the gambling equipment would be stowed away. This Tiki design is part of our retro collection.
