The Snack Shop sat along Pacific Coast Highway in Corona del Mar, California. This humble establishment, featuring just two tables and ten counter seats, quickly gained popularity, leading to the opening of a second location in Santa Ana in 1950. By 1960, the Snack Shop restaurant chain had expanded to eleven locations, laying the foundation for Far West Services, which later introduced other notable brands like Coco's and Reuben's. The original Snack Shop building still stands and now houses Ruby's Diner, serving as a nostalgic reminder of the retro defunct restaurants of yesteryear.
