Kona Hut in Laguna Beach first emerged in the 1950s at 209 North Coast Highway as a tropical outpost in the Christian’s Hut family that later became the Doll House before taking on the Kona Hut name around 1954. Known for its flamingo charm and Polynesian mood it vanished after a 1956 fire. This retro vintage design was inspired by the vintage tiki bars of yesteryear.
