The Kona Kai Chateau in Union, New Jersey opened in the 1960s, serving up tropical cocktails and Cantonese style dishes in a moody, tiki filled setting. With bamboo booths, pufferfish lights, and strong Mai Tais, it became a suburban escape before fading out by the early 1980s. This design is inspired by vintage defunct tiki and Polynesian inspired establishments of yesteryear. Printed on our super soft ring-spun & combed cotton unisex T-Shirt.
