Lafayette's Bulls charged onto the Evangeline League diamond in 1948, playing Class D minor league ball in the heart of Cajun country. Small town baseball in southern Louisiana carried a devotion that bigger cities couldn't match. Those clubs were where communities gathered under the lights and made the game their own. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:

A cartoon bull mascot in dark maroon swings a yellow baseball bat, with horns, a snout ring, and a glove on one hand. Dark red script reads "Bulls" below, with "CLASS D MINOR LEAGUE BASEBALL CLUB" in distressed block serif capitals.
