The Waiohai Resort on Poipu Beach in Kauai, Hawaii opened in the mid twentieth century and quickly became a favorite island retreat with its palm lined grounds, oceanfront setting, and breezy tropical charm. For decades it welcomed travelers looking to experience the relaxed beauty of the Garden Isle, until Hurricane Iniki struck in 1992 and left the resort damaged beyond repair. By 2004 the property was redeveloped into a new hotel, but the original Waiohai exists now only as a piece of Kauai history. This retro vintage design was inspired by the vintage hotels & resorts of yesteryear. Printed on our super soft ring-spun & combed cotton unisex T-Shirt.
