Kings Bowl stood at the corner of El Camino Real and Millbrae Avenue, a gathering place forged in the postwar bowling boom of the 1950s. Millbrae was still finding its identity between San Francisco and the Peninsula suburbs. Lanes like this one gave a town its center, a place where neighbors became regulars and regulars became family. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
