Kon-Tiki brought the South Seas to Cleveland, Ohio inside the Sheraton Mt. Royal Hotel, thriving from the 1960s through the tiki craze era. Polynesian restaurants like this one were more than themed dining, they were portals to an imagined paradise. Cleveland's version held its own among the great tiki bars of the Midwest. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.

A vintage tiki bar tribute to Kon-Tiki, the Polynesian restaurant inside Cleveland's Sheraton Mt. Royal Hotel during the 1960s tiki craze, with carved tiki idols.
