Silver Nugget opened in 1964 on Las Vegas Boulevard in North Las Vegas, anchoring a stretch of highway that working locals called their own. Far from the glamour of the Strip, it built its reputation on keno, bingo, and honest odds. Some casinos chased tourists, but this one earned its loyalty one neighborhood regular at a time. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
The Details:
Blue and red illustration of a tall casino pylon sign topped with a globe shape, with "Silver Nugget" in cursive script across the main marquee. Smaller panels below read "KENO," "$25,000," and "BINGO" in block lettering. A directional sign at the base reads "NORTH LAS VEGAS NEVADA" beside a sunburst motif, with a sparse desert ground line of rocks and small plants.
