El Reno's Railroaders took the diamond in 1922 as part of the Oklahoma State League's Class D circuit. Railroad towns across Oklahoma built their identity around the lines that sustained them, and baseball clubs carried that pride onto the field. One brief season in El Reno made the game and the rails inseparable. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:
Arched distressed cream text reads "EL RENO, OKLA." above bold cream letters spelling "RAILROADERS." A weathered cream steam locomotive with a baseball-stitched headlight trails billowing smoke beneath. Cursive cream script reads "Baseball Club" above outlined numerals "1922" and smaller stacked text reading "OKLAHOMA STATE LEAGUE CLASS D."
