Lynn's Live Oaks took the field in 1901 as part of the New England League. Lynn, Massachusetts was already steeped in minor league tradition by the turn of the century. Baseball ran deep in that city, and clubs like this one gave working families something to rally around on summer evenings.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
