St. Paul's Apostles took the field in 1884 as part of the Northwestern League, representing a young Minnesota city still finding its identity. Baseball in that era was raw, local, and deeply personal to the communities that fielded teams. Short-lived as they were, clubs like the Apostles laid the groundwork for St. Paul's long, proud minor league tradition. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
The Details:

Bold navy numerals "1884" appear below, flanked by a navy silhouette of Minnesota with a star marking St. Paul and a vintage hand-drawn batter in a batting stance.
