Opening in 1963 on the Las Vegas Strip, the Westward Ho was the working man's casino in a town built for high rollers. Free champagne, single deck 21, and a shot at a keno ticket kept the doors swinging for over four decades. Some places sold glamour. The Westward Ho sold a fair shake, and the Strip still remembers. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
The Details:
Domes in ribbed golden-yellow halftone crown distressed white Western-style text reading "WESTWARD·HO" above yellow "CASINO / LAS VEGAS." KENO." Three columns of yellow halftone dots fade below the marquee.
