Imperial Palace opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 1979, an Asian-themed resort among the giants of its day. Generations of visitors found it the friendly, affordable alternative to the high-roller palaces next door. Impersonator dealers worked the tables, and a celebrated tribute show began here. Long after the name came down in 2012, regulars still speak of it fondly. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
