Royal Nevada opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 1955, part of the boom year that reshaped the desert skyline. Billed as the wonderful where in Las Vegas, it carried the optimism of the atomic age. Its casino lasted only a few short years before the Stardust absorbed it. Some places burn briefly but never fade. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
The Details:
Starburst lines in white radiate from the center, tipped with alternating teal and coral dots in a mid-century atomic style. Flared golden-yellow serif text with distressed texture reads "Royal." Smaller hand-drawn teal sans-serif text on a wavy baseline reads "the wonderful where in Las Vegas" above golden-yellow serif "Nevada."
