In the M*A*S*H episode 'Lil' (season 7, episode 3), the visiting Colonel, Lillian Rayburn, looked down at me sleeping and recuperating on a cot in Post-Op at the 4077th, and she said to Colonel Potter, "Look at that boy. He belongs in a playground, not a hospital." That was a long time ago! A lot of hair has turned grey since then, and no one would mistake me for a boy on a playground or even for a young soldier today.

However, I recently purchased a M*A*S*H T-shirt from m00nshot in order to commemorate the years I spent wearing dog tags at the 4077th (1978 through the final episode 'Goodbye, Farewell And Amen' in 1983). I was a regular in camp. I was also a regular on the operating tables and in Post-Op. I can find myself in the 4077 camp in nearly every episode of the show's final 5 years. (On-screen, I wore the Army green, but off-screen, I was usually wearing a red leather motorcycle jacket.)

Unfortunately, I was a bit too young at the time to fully appreciate being part of such a legendary TV show. Nowadays, I reminisce about those good years, and when I saw the M*A*S*H T-shirt available at m00nshot, I knew that I should buy one, while I can still remember having worked on the show. (My memory ain't what it used to be... and it never was!)

The T-shirt I received from m00nshot arrived very quickly and it is nicely crafted of 100% cotton. And - WOW! - is that cotton soft and comfortable. I only wish the cots in Post-Op at the 4077th had been this soft and comfortable!
