Hollywood Bowling Lanes anchored the corner of 67th Avenue and Queens Boulevard in Rego Park, Queens, through the 1950s and 1960s. Housed inside the Metropolitan Bank Building, it was equal parts thirty-lane house, cocktail lounge, and neighborhood gathering spot. Some places weren't just recreation, they were ritual.
Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
