Lubbock's Crickets brought independent baseball to West Texas when they joined the Texas-Louisiana League in 1995. A scrappy club in a proud town, they gave Lubbock something to rally around on warm summer nights. Brief seasons still leave a mark on the communities that loved them. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
