Okmulgee's Glassblowers took the diamond in 1912 as part of the Oklahoma State League, carrying the name of the town's thriving glass industry onto the ballfield. Small town minor league clubs like these were the soul of Oklahoma's early baseball culture. They played hard, represented honest work, and gave a growing community something to rally behind. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
