Holdenville fielded its Hitters in the Oklahoma State League starting in 1912, when Class D ball was the lifeblood of small towns across the state. Places like Holdenville, Oklahoma didn't just host baseball, they lived it. Every summer evening, the whole town gathered, and that diamond was the closest thing to sacred ground.
