Idaho Falls fielded the Spuds beginning in 1926, a minor league club born from the agricultural soul of eastern Idaho. Baseball and potato country were inseparable then, and the team wore that identity without apology. Some franchises chase sophistication, but the Spuds understood exactly where they came from.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
