St. Joseph Autos played Class C ball in the Michigan State League, established in 1940, representing a small lakeside town that punched above its weight. Minor league clubs like this gave St. Joseph, Michigan something to rally around during uncertain times. Community baseball at its purest, where every player was somebody's neighbor.
Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
