Saint Joseph's Drummers took the field in 1910 as part of the Western League, a minor league circuit that rivaled the majors in passion if not payroll. Missouri's smaller cities lived and died with their teams in that era. Baseball wasn't entertainment in Saint Joseph, it was identity. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
