Dunes Hotel opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 1955, bringing Arabian Nights fantasy to a young desert town. Through the 1950s and 1960s, it promised travelers the time of their lives with headline shows, high-stakes tables, and the Strip's first topless revue. Its implosion in 1993 closed a chapter of old Vegas that never came back. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.

Onion-dome cartouches outlined in golden yellow hold script "for the time of your life," tan sans-serif "vacation at the dazzling," and bold "DUNES" over a distressed yellow panel. A vintage hand-drawn showgirl in a golden-yellow two-piece and fringed skirt poses against a tilted red-orange rectangle. Golden-yellow sans-serif text reads "Dunes Hotel • Las Vegas, Nevada DUdley 2-7700 (TWX 8637)."
