El Rancho carried one of the oldest names on the Las Vegas Strip, first raised in 1941 by the resort that started it all. Revived in 1982 on the old Thunderbird grounds, it kept that frontier spirit alive. Its doors closed in 1992, but the name still marks where the Strip began. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
