El Rancho Vegas opened in 1941 as the first resort on what would become the Las Vegas Strip. Back then, the road south of town was open desert, and a Western ranch resort seemed an unlikely gamble. Every casino that followed owed something to this one. Some places don't just join a skyline, they start one. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
