Fremont Street was still a frontier town in 1946 when the Golden Nugget opened its doors in downtown Las Vegas. Built on gold rush legend, it carried the spirit of the Old West saloon into the age of neon. Long before the Strip claimed the spotlight, this was where downtown gambled, celebrated, and remembered where it came from. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
The Details:
Lettering in arched navy Tuscan-style serif reads "GOLDEN NUGGET" above "SALOON" with small orange dot accents. Navy italic serif capitals read "WORLD'S FINEST" above smaller italic "Las Vegas, Nevada." An orange gold nugget with sunburst lines sits within a V-shaped arrangement of navy pickaxes, mining tools, and small orange nuggets.
