Lady Luck opened in 1964 as a modest casino in downtown Las Vegas, a few blocks from Fremont Street. Through the 1970s and 1980s it grew into a full hotel, a homegrown success while the Strip chased spectacle. Locals found something rarer than glamour there, a place that belonged to downtown. Its doors closed in 2006, but the memory stayed. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
