Royal Nevada opened on the Las Vegas Strip in 1955, part of a historic wave of resorts that remade the desert boulevard in a single year. Its reign was brief, lasting only a few years before the neighboring Stardust absorbed its grounds. Some places burn brief and bright, but they help build everything that follows. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.

The Details:

Crest artwork shows a distressed white baroque scrollwork shield topped by a gold and red crown, with a central red circle holding a white script "RN" monogram. Distressed gold calligraphic script reads "Royal Nevada" in staggered diagonal lines with swashes. Spaced white uppercase sans-serif text reads "HOTEL · LAS VEGAS · NEVADA."
