Opening on the Las Vegas Strip in 1955, the Dunes brought Arabian Nights glamour to a desert town still inventing itself. A full country club turned a casino into a true resort. High rollers and honeymooners filled its rooms for nearly four decades. Implosion in 1993 closed a chapter the Strip never wrote again. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.

Large red-orange display script with black outlines and white inner highlights reads "Dunes," with a flourished "D" and a sweeping tail on the "s." Condensed bold black sans-serif text reads "HOTEL & COUNTRY CLUB" above wide-spaced black serif capitals reading "LAS VEGAS • NEVADA."
