Opening on Fremont Street in 1957, The Mint brought a bold new glamour to downtown Las Vegas. In those years, Glitter Gulch was the beating heart of the city, and The Mint stood among its brightest lights. Its name traveled far beyond the casino floor through the Mint 400, a punishing desert race that began in 1968. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
