Opening in 1955 on the Las Vegas Strip, the Riviera rose nine stories as the boulevard's first high-rise. A city of desert motor courts was reaching upward, chasing something grander. Six decades of headliners and dreamers passed through its showroom and casino floor. Some places outlive their era, and the Riviera carried old Vegas until its final night in 2015. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.

Crest artwork in gold baroque scrollwork, topped with a crown, frames a script "R" on an orange-red medallion beside a distressed gold illustration of the Riviera Hotel tower, vertical "RIVIERA" sign, and mid-century cars. Orange-red capitals read "MAGNIFICENT" above a white serif "RIVIERA" with an oversized swash "R," then "HOTEL / LAS VEGAS."
