Chasen's stood at 9039 Beverly Blvd. in Los Angeles as Hollywood's most hallowed dining room from 1936 until its closing in 1995. Stars and studio heads made it their private canteen for nearly six decades. Some restaurants feed a city, but Chasen's fed an entire industry's sense of itself.
