Zim's was a San Francisco institution from 1947 through the early 1990s, serving broiled hamburgers and hot apple pie to everyone from late-night cab drivers to after-church families. Expanding into Marin County, it became the kind of place people measured their lives by. Some restaurants feed a city, and some become part of its memory. Part of our Vintage Restaurant collection, celebrating the classic American menus of yesteryear.
The Details:
A red filled circle centers the design, with white cursive script reading "Zim's" above smaller white text reading "SAN FRANCISCO" and "MARIN COUNTY," with white italic text reading "Estd. 1947" below.
