Walnut Bowl stood as a gathering place for families and league bowlers across Walnut Creek through the mid-century decades. Positioned across from Broadway Shopping Center, it anchored an era when bowling alleys were the social backbone of California suburban life. Some lanes outlast their time, but the community they built never really leaves. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
The Details:
