Pub Tiki stood at 1718 Walnut Street in the heart of Philadelphia's Center City. Opening during the mid-century tiki craze of the 1960s, it brought Polynesian escapism to a neighborhood built on cobblestone and colonial history. Exotic cocktails and carved totems made it feel worlds away from Walnut Street. Part of our Vintage Tiki collection, celebrating the defunct golden era bars of yesteryear.
The Details:
Rounded white lowercase text reads "pub" beside angular white Polynesian-style letters reading "TIKI," with cursive script below reading "Philadelphia" and "1718 WALNUT." A distressed black tiki idol with large round eyes sits atop a polka-dot cocktail glass, flanked by a tall drink with a straw and citrus garnish. Bold distressed black text reads "PARK FREE 1½ hrs."
