Before the boardwalks were packed with tourists and Springsteen put it on the map, Asbury Park had its very own scrappy seaside squad called the Sea Urchins. Born in 1914, this short-lived Minor League team played with salt in their veins and sand in their cleats. Rumor has it their dugout was a converted bait shack and their mascot was just a drunk fisherman yelling at seagulls. We imagined their logo like it was dreamed up between innings with a pencil and a pint of something strong. This design is part of our old school retro baseball tees inspired by the vintage and defunct, forgotten and obscure Minor League Baseball teams of yesteryear.
