Bahooka Ribs & Grog stood as a temple of tiki culture in Rosemead, California, from 1976 until its closing in 2013. Hundreds of exotic fish tanks glowed between carved totems and tropical darkness. Few restaurants anywhere carried the Polynesian fantasy that far, or held a community's loyalty that long.
