Barberton's Magic Cities took the field in 1905 as part of the Ohio Pennsylvania League, bringing Class C baseball to a small industrial town already humming with ambition. In an era before radio broadcasts, these clubs were the cultural pulse of their communities. Barberton showed up, and for a brief time, that diamond meant everything. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
