Boise's Pilots took the field in 1939 as part of the Pioneer League, bringing Class C baseball to Idaho during a time when minor league teams were the soul of their cities. Small towns across the Northwest leaned on clubs like these. They were identity, community, and summer itself. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
