Cedar Rapids Blackbirds - Iowa - Vintage Defunct Baseball Teams - Unisex Hoodie
PRINTED IN & SHIPPED FROM USA
Our high quality unisex fleece hoodies are a premium 8oz heavyweight cotton/poly fleece with a lined hood and a front pouch pocket. They are beyond comfortable.
Cedar Rapids fielded its first professional ballclub in 1890, when the Blackbirds took the diamond in the Illinois-Iowa League. Minor league baseball was still young then, and small Midwestern towns measured their pride by the nine men they sent out each summer. Teams like this one laid the groundwork for over a century of ballgames along the Cedar River. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
