Dapper alligators on roller skates got approved by a cigar-smoking rink owner in 1957 who said "the kids'll love this" and was absolutely right for reasons he never intended. Sixty years of flea market irony couldn't improve on that earnest commitment. Part of our Retro Roller Rink collection, inspired by the classic skating rinks of yesteryear.
The Details:
Curved red text reads "COLISEUM SKATING RINK" around the top of a yellow-bordered circular emblem. A mid-century cartoon alligator in a black top hat and roller skates glides in profile past a green palm tree, blue water, white clouds, and horizontal red stripes. A white banner at the bottom reads "DAVIS ISLANDS" above "TAMPA ★ FLORIDA" in red and black lettering.
