Del Fair Lanes stood as a cornerstone of Cincinnati's neighborhood bowling scene through the mid-twentieth century. Rooted in the city's west side, it carried the kind of local loyalty that franchise alleys never could. Some lanes were just buildings, but Del Fair was where Cincinnati families kept score of more than games. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
The Details:
Bold red serif text reads "Del Fair" above white spaced-out capitals "LANES." A dark green banner displays "451-5800" in white beside a bowling ball striking three white pins with red-striped tops, rendered with hand-drawn motion lines. Smaller white text below reads "Cincinnati, Ohio" and "45238."
