Duluth's Dukes first took the diamond in 1935, carrying the pride of Minnesota's northern port through decades of minor league ball. Playing along the shores of Lake Superior, they gave a hardworking iron range community something to rally around on summer nights. Some teams belong to a city the way a river belongs to the land. Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.
