Hi Score Lanes stood at 5833 Foothill Blvd. in Oakland, a neighborhood alley rooted in the late 1950s when league bowling was practically a civic duty. That old LOckhaven phone exchange tells you everything about the era. Places like this held East Oakland together, one Friday night at a time. Part of our Retro Bowling collection, featuring the defunct alleys of yesteryear.
