Hotel Sahara opened in 1952 at the north end of the Las Vegas Strip, when the town was still betting on what it could become. Its showrooms and lounges welcomed a generation of crooners, comedians, and headliners who built the legend of Sin City. Some places host history, and some become it. Part of our Vintage Las Vegas collection, celebrating the defunct golden era venues of yesteryear.
The Details:
Towers of the Hotel Sahara appear in a distressed red and white hand-drawn illustration with flagpoles, a "SAHARA" marquee, and a vertical "SAHARA" pylon sign. Teal sans-serif text reads "HOTEL" above red hand-lettered brush text reading "SAHARA" with a white offset drop shadow. Wide teal sans-serif text reads "LAS VEGAS • NEVADA."
