Choosing Duckie is basically admitting the test audiences were cowards and Blane's spine had the structural integrity of a wet prom corsage. That lip-sync to "Try a Little Tenderness" deserved a better ending than a consolation dance. Inspired by Pretty in Pink.
The Details:
Distressed rounded pink lettering reads "I WOULD HAVE CHOSEN" above bold pink Western-style serif text reading "DUCKIE." A high-contrast portrait of Duckie Dale in pink, white, and black shows him wearing round sunglasses and a porkpie hat. Scattered pink and white hearts in varying sizes surround the portrait, some filled and some outlined.
