Our high quality unisex luxury fleece hoodies consist of a premium 8.5oz ring-spun cotton/polyester blend. They are beyond comfortable.

Jeanerette is a small sugarcane town in Iberia Parish, and in 1934 it inherited a baseball team almost by accident. The original Lake Charles Explorers were displaced when their grandstand burned to the ground that May, and on May 29 the franchise relocated 90 miles east to Jeanerette and rebranded as the Blues. They joined the brand-new Class D Evangeline League (a circuit Cajun fans nicknamed the "Pepper Sauce League") and went on to win the 1935 playoffs and finals. The Blues operated through 1939 before the franchise quietly disbanded.

Part of our Defunct Baseball collection, inspired by the vintage Minor League teams of yesteryear.

The Details:

Crisp white ink on royal blue, built around an illustration of a player mid-swing, his bat extended through the follow-through. The full inscription reads "JEANERETTE," "LOUISIANA," "EST. 1934," "Blues," and "EVANGELINE LEAGUE," with the team name laid out in a sweeping script and underscored by a long curving banner. The print carries a softly weathered vintage texture.
