The Landmark Resort Hotel, located at 364 Convention Center Drive in Las Vegas, opened on July 1, 1969, after nearly a decade of construction delays. Designed with a distinctive 31-story tower and a five-story cupola dome, it was the tallest building in Nevada at the time. Despite its unique architecture and proximity to the Las Vegas Convention Center, the Landmark struggled financially and underwent several ownership changes. The hotel ultimately closed on August 8, 1990, and was demolished on November 7, 1995, to make way for additional parking for the convention center. This design is part of our vintage retro collection, celebrating the vintage defunct golden era Las Vegas venues of yesteryear. Printed on our warm & cozy heavyweight unisex sweatshirt.
